This app is meant for beginner to intermediate traders who are just getting their foot in the door. Otter is a safe place to gain knowledge and expand your portfolio.

We've also introduced personalized notifications, ensuring users stay informed about market trends and community activity with account activity tailored to their preferences. Additionally, we've optimized the app for accessibility, ensuring that all users, regardless of abilities, can engage with our platform seamlessly. CHALLENGES

One of the primary hurdles was balancing the desire for a sleek, modern interface with the need to provide comprehensive financial information without overwhelming the user. To address this, we conducted extensive user testing and feedback sessions, gathering insights on which features were most valued by our users and which could be streamlined or reorganized. By prioritizing user-centric design principles and iterative testing, we were able to refine the interface to strike the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality, ensuring that users could easily access the information they need without feeling bogged down by unnecessary clutter.

The main idea for Otter was to bring social media to the investment world. Everyone knows how important investing for your future is, but many don't know where to begin. However, there are plenty of resources you can learn from. This app was designed to get streamlined professional information directly to your phone. To get tips from professionals and friends on what they might have recently invested in or even ideas on what you should be investing in for the future. We wanted to provide as much necessary information as possible without overloading the user, nut still have the ability to dive further in if necessary.
